Fedora Live CD
Fedora 12 Install DVD

This item is for a live CD and install DVD of Fedora. It will allow you to both boot straight off the CD into the Fedora desktop without touching your hard drive or interfering with your current operating system, or you can use the DVD to install Fedora on your hard drive!

The Fedora Project is a Red Hat sponsored and community-supported open source project. It is also a proving ground for new technology that may eventually make its way into Red Hat products. It is not a supported product of Red Hat, Inc.

The goal of The Fedora Project is to work with the Linux community to build a complete, general purpose operating system exclusively from free software. Development will be done in a public forum. The Red Hat engineering team will continue to participate in the building of Fedora and will invite and encourage more outside participation than was possible in Red Hat Linux. By using this more open process, The Fedora Linux project hopes to provide an operating system that uses free software development practices and is more appealing to the open source community.

Fedora comes with OPENOFFICE a full feature office suite similar to Microsoft Office, which is COMPLETELY COMPATIBLE with MICROSOFT OFFICE allowing you KEEP all your MS WORD DOCUMENTS, EXCEL and POWERPOINT, MOZILLA FIREFOX, the fast, popular web browser, and EVOLUTION, the Linux EMAIL and INFORMATION MANAGER, allows you to ORGANIZE all your CONTACTS, as well as tons of other software - too much to list here!

This software is open source, which means it is in full observance of the General Public License agreement. The General Public License allows this Operating System to be used as many times on as many computers as you want. This is a complete copy of Linux and is not a trial version, bootleg, or limited in any way.
